Paris calls us to explore and we answer bright and early. After a quick stop at the local bakery, we walk all the way to the Arc de Triomphe and enjoy the view

and a great lunch.

Faith has been having ankle trouble all week so we stop on the way to the Eiffel Tower and buy her some more comfortable shoes.

At the Eiffel Tower we are bummed to hear that the top is closed for the day so we pay to go up as high as we can and are still amazed by the 360 degree view of Paris.

A quick ride on the Metro takes us to Notre Dame.

Before we can head into the cathedral we get caught in a rain storm. We hide out in a crepe shop in the nearby Latin Quarter.

We thoroughly explore the cathedral before heading back to our hotel to meet up with our old friends from back home; Emily and Jordan.

Lover's Bridge

Reuniting over a great beer at a local bar, we decide to get some dinner and find a local spot with an amazing pork and potato dish that was covered in cheese.

I had an amazing beef dish that absolutely melted in your mouth.

We all decide to take a quick metro ride to Sacre Couer

and a stop for a few more drinks in the Montmartre area.

Our night ends too soon with a walk back to our hotels through the Montmarte district and the Moulin Rouge.

Off to bed for more fun tomorrow!
OMG that banana nutella crepe looks completely to die for! Looking at these pix makes me wanna go back SO bad. I was there in1989, quite a long time ago! But I visited all those same places. Amazing.
