Ten on Tuesday

I had written these and then forgot to post. Such is my life at the moment. Oh well, better late than never!

1. Pretend it’s Monday morning–take us through a day in the life of you.
Alarm goes off at 6:45. I usually snooze until about 7. Shower and get ready and get to work by 8:30. It seems I'm going to work late on most Mondays and Tuesdays as these are payroll entering days. So I'm usually gone by 6, 6:30 at the latest. Get home and figure out what to make for dinner. Dinner with John while watching (currently) The Closer and Rizzoli and Isles. Usually bum around the house until until about 10-11. Then usually read and go to bed.

2. What’s your favorite reality tv show?
Hoarders? That's about as close as I get.

3. What motto do you live by?
Hmmm...that's a tough one. At work I use, "Too bad so sad" a lot. At least I'm trying to teach one of my coworkers to use it more. Otherwise maybe just "one day at a time."

4. If you knew could you try anything and not fail, what dream would you attempt?
I'd love to be able to sell everything I have and travel the world. Maybe do something like the Peace Corps. I'd also try my hand at being a comedian or I'd write a book or maybe do both.

5. What was your first job?
Taco Bell. Oh yeah....

6. What is your current job?
I work for a large non-profit doing recruiting and payroll. I'm absolutely loving it.

7. What would you call yourself if you could choose your own name (and you cannot pick the one you already have)?
I really would choose my own name though. It took me a really long time to actually like my name. I always wanted to be a Marie.

8. What musical instruments can you play?
Piano - if you count teaching myself and the clarinet. I played 5th grade through high school and have been trying to pick it back up.

9. Is it easier to forgive or forget?
Forgive. I don't think it's really possible to forget, but forgiving is sometimes even harder.

10. What is one food you’d never want to taste again?
I don't think I've ever had anything that I'd never want again. My taste buds are pretty adventurous.

  1. Good mottos and it's good to hear that you're liking your job. Did Chelsea have her baby yet? Happy Wednesday!

  2. I was going to ask how you like your new job, but it looks like you're enjoying it. Yay! : )
