Ten on Tuesday

1. Of your current hobbies, which would you choose to spend more time, money, and effort on? Why?
Gardening. I spend a nice chunk of change on it (not as much as John does on video games though). It's nice and relaxing and saves you money in the long run.

2. List the two other hobbies/habitual activities (not chores) besides the one listed above that you regularly do now and didn’t choose in question one.
Knitting. It's a new hobby though and baking.

3. Why are you spending time on the above two hobbies/habitual activities at all if you really wanted to spend your time on the first one you chose? …or to put it another way, what are these two hobbies/habitual activities fulfilling that the first one doesn’t if you don’t want to put all your effort into the first hobby?
Well gardening doesn't take a whole lot of time once you get it going. Knitting is easy to do when just lounging around. Baking is something fun that I'll never give up. There's really time for all three in my life. Knitting and baking is also a way to show creativity. Gardening isn't all that creative.

4. Read John 3:16 in the bible… In what way does this passage affect you? What are your feelings towards these words, positively or negatively?
I'd have to ask John to find me a bible. I know he's got a couple. I'm not one that really reads the bible. I could probably call him right now and he could probably tell me the passage, I just don't want to bug him at work.

5. M&M’s: nuts, no nuts, or peanut butter?
I like nuts and no nuts. Just depends on my mood.

6. Putting away the feeling of pride being a bad thing; what secretly/openly are you proud about yourself?
I'm proud of all I've accomplished in my life so far. I'm proud to have a group of great friends and a great husband. I'm proud of myself for walking away from a bad employment situation. I'm proud of myself for not killing Rufus after he pooped all over the floor yet again. (Just kidding, I'd never actually kill my dog. I just talk mad shit about him)

7. Given one room in the house to do with what you want, not changing the actual size of the room and with all the money you would need, what would you do, and be specific? (this can range from bouncy floor, walls & ceilings; to hard wood floor with wood paneling and purple ceiling with a chair; to nothing)
A totally new kitchen. I'd love a different kitchen with some actual counter space.

8. What’s the next movie you’re going to see? Not what you’d LIKE to GO see, but the next movie you realistically are going to watch.
Probably Alice and Wonderland. I'm surprised John hasn't asked to go see it yet.

9. Use the keyboard only and make your best smiley/funny/cool face –> like this! 8^)
(: o )

10. What makes you cry? What makes you pray? What makes you laugh?
Hallmark commercials, those a baby changes everything commercials, those damn SPCA commercials - this is why I don't' watch commercials.
Don't remember the last time I prayed except for a family dinner.
Almost everything makes me laugh.

  1. I've been wanting a garden for the past two years, but living in an apartment doesn't really give me the room for one! I'm going to try my hand at growing a few flowers and herbs in containers though! (Once I figure out how, haha)
