Would You Rather?

John works by himself all day so usually by the time I get home he is in "Talk Mode." He wants to ask 80 million questions and I'm usually mentally exhausted and don't feel like talking to anyone. I've gotten pretty good and blocking him out as he goes on about video games, electronics, music or whatever is on his mind. I'll usually through in a nod or an uh huh, but I usually just let him talk. Occasionally, usually when we're having a dinner out, we play Who Would Win in a Fight or Would You Rather. So to get a little reader interaction here on the good old blog I'll let you answer some of our Would You Rather questions from tonight - yes, they're all food related.

Would you rather live without:

Sausage or Bacon? (we were having dinner at Denny's)

Bacon or Ranch Dressing? (That was my response to the above question)

Steak or Hamburgers?

Ketchup or Mustard?

Mustard or Mayo?

Avocado or Tomatoes? (Think of no more spaghetti!)

Ranch or Cheese?(That was a tough one. John said he'd rather not live)

Oh and not food related, but Lord of the Rings or Star Wars. (Hey, I was playing with John, would you expect anything less?)

Can't wait to see your answers! I'll get John to answer as well!

I would live with and never without:
SAUSAGE. RANCH. STEAK. KETCHUP. MUSTARD. TOMATOES. CHEESE. And I would not live in a world without BOTH Star Wars AND LOTR. On a side note, who would win in a fight - ObiWan or Gandalf?

  2. Bacon, Bacon, Steak, Ketchup, Mustard, Tomatoes, Cheese.

Actually, I could probably live on those ingredients alone for the next year if I needed to.

And I'm perfectly content with neither LOTR or Star Wars.

I will totally have to ask J these questions. I think he might die on the Bacon vs. Ranch question.

  3. Damnit. I did a bad job reading the directions. All my answers are what I'd rather live WITH, not without.

  4. Okay, what I would rather live WITHOUT (meaning never see it again, right?):

    *Sausage
*Bacon but only because it has more substance than if I were to just drink Ranch (ew gross)
*If I were picking off a menu, I would pick steak but to live on for the rest of my life, I'd want burger so WITHOUT steak.
    *Mustard
*Mustard(mix the ketchup and mayo together so it can take the place of my Ranch I gave up)
    *Avocado
*I might have to agree with John on this way
    *I can live WITHOUT both

    That was fun!

  5. I would rather live without:
    Sausage
    Ranch
    Steak
OMGOSH this is hard, but Mustard
    Mayo (because it's DISGUSTING!!)
    Avacado
    Ranch
LOL, I could do without both.

  6. I guess I should answer my own as well! I could live without:

    Sausage
    Bacon
    Steak
Ketchup - this was a tough one, but I figure I eat more mustard than ketchum
Mayo - again, I like mustard
    Avocado
Ranch or Cheese - I'm gonna go with John, I could give up neither. I'd be too sad.
I'm going with the girls, I could live without either movie, BUT I did have to think twice when John asked and if I really cared I would choose Star Wars. I actually really liked LOTR.

  7. Okay, I could live without:
    ~Bacon
~Ranch Dressing (I hate that stuff)
    ~Hamburgers
~Ketchup (This was hard, but I probably eat Mustard more)
    ~Mayo (Yuck!)
~Avocado (This was was really hard. I don't really like tomatoes, but I LOVE salsa & spaghetti!
    ~Ranch for sure!
~Lord of the Rings (I've only seen the first movie, so this is my default answer)

    Bacon

    Steak

    Mustard

    Mustard

    Tomatoes

Ranch or Cheese?(That was a tough one. John said he'd rather not live) I am going to have to go with John!

Oh and not food related, but Lord of the Rings or Star Wars. I've never seen either one so I can't answer! And my husband cannot believe I have never seen Star Wars...he calls me communist whenever it gets brought up!

I just have to say that after reviewing all the comments I think that all of you should make sure to watch the 2 most important movie series of our time. By the way, the correct answer to the Gandalf vs ObiWan question would probably have to be ObiWan. It is up for debate so I could talk for hours about this... If you guys like my million questions that I ask Faith, I have a million more, so let her know!

  10. When I told Matt about this game, he wanted to play so here are his answers:

    Bacon
Bacon (he's crazy, I'm just picturing spoonfuls of ranch dressing)
    Steak
    Ketchup
    Mustard
    Avocadoes
    Ranch

Lord of the Rings because Star Wars is a classic (when I read this question he yelled out-NO! This is not even fair!!!)

And in answer to John's question:
    ObiWan

Thanks for providing us with entertainment this Wednesday evening!

  11. OK Let's go...
    Bacon
    Bacon
    Hamburgers
    Ketchup
    Mustard
    Tomatoes (so easy...I HATE avacadoes!)
Duuuuuuuude...uh....Cheese?? No wait, Ranch, no wait, cheese, no wait...you're right, I'd rather be dead.
Seriously, would rather live without LOTR for sure!!

Now one I thought of after a conversation at work...would you rather be caught engaging in bedroom activities by your PARENTS or by your CHILDREN?? And as a rule, your children are not young enough to tell them "mommy and daddy were wrestling!!"

  12. Wait, I just said I'd live WITHOUT bacon. I answered EVERY OTHER QUESTION the correct way except those two...WTF??

  13. Bacon
    Bacon
    Steak
    Mustard
    Mustard
    Avocado
Probably ranch... ack... I can't believe I just said that! But dear God I love cheese!
LOTR.... that one was way to easy
