Doin' What We Do Best

As more pictures keep popping up on Facebook from the wedding I realize how freaking crazy my husband and I are. I think our friends appreciate our brand of crazy though. Here are some of our friends' pictures along with the captions they gave them. My own comments are in pink.

"The Hinchmans doing what they do best, doing goofy poses for pictures." Hey - you never know what you're going to get when you ask us to pose!

"There is a story behind this. But all you have to know is that when you are a bride, someone has to teach you how to use the bathroom in that dress." I did this again for the picture. We regularly redo stuff for pictures.

"Once again, the Hinchmans and their gang signs."

"I have absolutely no idea WHAT Faith is doing but it's full of WIN!" In my defense I think I may have been singing and dancing. Not quite sure though...

"I had originally planned to caption this one 'Faith willingly picks up a baby' but Faith, you kind of look like you're going to eat him..."

This one was simply titled, "Faith & John" I think we were singing along to Total Eclipse of the Heart. We had just finished doing an awesome lift that I think the photographer may have gotten a picture of.

"Faith shows off her "O" face. " I was actually trying to throw another gang sign but whatevs!

At one point during the night I said to the photographer, "I don't think I even want to know what kinds of faces I'm making in the pictures you've taken." She looked at me, smiled and said, "Oh. They're awesome."

If you'd like to stalk the photographer's blog for any sneak peaks she may or may not put up you can do so at: It's the amazingly talented Lisa Woods from Now and Then Photography. She shot my other awesome friends Emily and Jordan's wedding last year.

  1. If you guys lived closer, we'd totally have to hang out so I can see those poses and gang signs in person. As long as you're having fun who cares how crazy it gets!

  2. I don't think I've ever enjoyed pictures from a stranger's wedding more!

  3. Thanks Meredith! It was such a fun wedding and I'm glad I was able to communicate that to a bunch of strangers even! I can't wait for the photographer's pics.

Alyssa - my SIL lives on the Illinois side of St. Louis so if we're ever out that way (I was supposed to be there in Oct. and didn't go) I'll let you know!

  4. If nothing else, you guys look like a lot of fun to be around!
