We started off at John's brother's house for dinner and gifts.
All the kiddos

The girls knew exactly which barbie I had gotten them just by looking at the wrapped present. Next year I'm going to have to get more sneaky.

John's brother

I actually really loved this purse and almost kept it for myself. Our niece loved it so much she didn't take it off her shoulder for the rest of the night.

The next celebration was at John's mom's house where we saw these awesome inflatables in a neighbor's yard.

We had our cookie exchange

Posed for a bit

and then it was time for the rest of the family to show up and open presents

Uncle Steve really liked what I got him

John got his saw and can now start fixin' stuff

Pretty good first Christmas!
On a side note, my family is all still here from yesterday. My dad has taken over my living room to watch nothing but the SciFi channel. It's an all day Highlander marathon and he's in heaven. My cousins form Indiana are also driving in today so we're all going to meet up with them and have dinner so my little brother and his girlfriend are still here. Oh and so is his dog that has covered my entire house in black fur. John had to work today, poor guy, so I'm stuck here entertaining (I'm doing a fabulous job since I'm currently hiding out in my bedroom typing this). John came home for lunch and I looked at him and said, "I can't wait until everyone is gone and we can clean." I don't think I could have made that man any happier.
